[ The morning is a dull thud of heat against his eyelids. These days he sleeps dreamlessly, and when he does dream it is in soft colors and better things. Sleeping next to someone is an odd affair, an idea he ponders now and then as he he lays there in the slow haze of the morning light. He twists a bit, can feel the heat that is now familiar against his skin as his legs brushes another. The sheets shift downwards, slink a bit over his shoulders so that the warm light spreads over his skin. Normally, he wouldn't stir too easily, but the weight of Jack's head on his chest is lacking and he frowns. He always does, always feel the pull of the muscles in his face at the unfamiliarity of it all.

Unfamiliar is bad and... and this has become too familiar.

Isaac rolls over slightly, reaches a hand out expecting emptiness, a slightly still-warm side of the bed with a dent in the mattress, but instead he just encounters something odd and hard. It rustles, and there's some slight protest as he pats it just slightly.

That's not Jack... so he calls for him as he always does. It can't hurt. It never hurts. Eyes still closed, he groans. ]

[His heart is racing, and Isaac is whispering into his skin, and Jack wraps his arms around him, sliding one hand into Isaac's hair as the other travels down his back, wondering how it's even possible to feel this happy, this complete.

He whispers it back into Isaac's ear, his lips brushing the earlobe and he can't really stop smiling even if he wanted to.]

[stomped]

[ He arches a bit when fingers trace along his RIG, smiles. Jack's lips against his ear make him laugh softly. Every kiss only sends him reeling, hands unsure of where to go but knowing that it doesn't matter. They touch and brush, settle against Jack's shoulders and slide slightly down his ribs, just to stay there, thumbs stroking slightly. ]

[unkindly]

[It doesn't matter. All that matters is that they're here together, they love each other (they love each other), and... no, that's it really.

Jack kisses Isaac on his earlobe, then next to it, then wherever he can reach, hand knotting in his hair and never wanting to stop.]

[stomped]

[ Oh wow, okay he can do that. He can keep doing that. Isaac tips his head back, his fingers rubbing slow circles into Jack's shoulders and up against the nape of his neck. ]

[unkindly]

[When Isaac tips his head back Jack just starts kissing his jawline, his neck, sighing a little in between at the circles on his back.]

[stomped]

[ A noise works its way out of Isaac's throat, something low and soft, a little vulnerable with his head tipped back. It's trust with something so fragile and soft, thin skin at his throat. ]

[unkindly]

[Jack knows how vulnerable it is, how much a sign of trust it is that Isaac can do this with him. Jack kisses softly at first, but then he opens his mouth, sucking slightly, pressing his tongue to the soft skin of Isaac's neck.]

[stomped]

[ He sucks in a breath quickly at the feeling of it, fingers pressing in a bit harder against Jack's skin, digging just a bit into muscle, continuing that slow circular motion as he mutters his name. ]

[unkindly]

[There's a small growl in response, deep from Jack's throat even as he continues at Isaac's neck, gently biting for a moment as he arches into him at the feeling of Isaac's fingers gripping him so tightly.]

[stomped]

[ Groaning a bit more, he lets his fingers slide upwards, move into Jack's hair to slide through the strands, wrap them around his fingers just slightly. ]

[unkindly]

[Jack's own fingers curl on Isaac's back as he bites again, a little bit harder, encouraged by the response he's getting.]

[stomped]

[ The bite is enough to make him tug a bit, breath catching in his throat as he feels teeth press harder against his skin. ]

[unkindly]

[The tug pulls his head back slightly, and he laughs a little, putting his lips to Isaac's ear again.]

You like that?

[He bites gently at Isaac's ear before going back down to his neck, slowly raking his teeth together to end in a bite that's still pretty gentle but harder than the last.]

[stomped]

[ The lips against his ear--well fuck, that's good. Enough to make his insides sink in a warm heat, resting in the pit of his belly. He responds, a bit too quickly. ]

Yeah--

[ The bite is a brief whiteness behind his eyes, a sharp taste on his tongue. It's enough for a soft growl to come from the back of his throat, fingers tightening. ]

Oh fuck--

[ It's enough to make him shift in bed, pulling Jack up to meet him, lips to lips. It's hard, it's quick, it's hungry and ends with a sharp nip to punctuate. ]

[unkindly]

[The reaction catches him by surprise, but even as he stares a bit wide-eyed at Isaac he follows the kiss, inhaling a bit sharply at the nip and grinning.]

...guess so.

[stomped]

[ He's fond of that smile. It's different. He swears that it might even taste a bit different on his mouth as he kisses him back with fervor, hands cupping his jaw for the few moments that he kisses him for. When he pulls back, it's with damp lips and eager breath. ]

Looks good on you.

[unkindly]

[The second kiss catches him by as much surprise as the first and he's left a little breathless because of it.]

What?

[His heart is pounding and his head is spinning just a little. Forgive him if he's a little slow on the uptake.]

[stomped]

[ His thumb moves to lightly run over the curve of Jack's lip. ]

That. Smiling.

[ Isaac moves in, lips kissing once, twice against his temples. ]

[unkindly]

[That just makes Jack smile more, leaning into the kisses, his hands trailing to Isaac's shoulders.]

[stomped]

[ His own hands rest against his skin, thumbs stroking softly. Jack's touch is soothing, brings him to sigh just a bit as he leans into his mouth, kisses with renewed vigor. ]

[unkindly]

[Jack returns the kiss, like Isaac is the only thing in the world, like it's the only thing he ever wants or needs, because right now it is. It's only Isaac and Jack, and that's all that matters.]

[stomped]

[ He pulls Jack in close, arms around him and hands splayed over warm skin. To be this close, this physically close, is something he isn't too used to anymore, or wasn't too used to anyways. But it's like he can't get enough of it as his lips leave Jack's to trail along his jaw, leaving hungry kisses in the wake of his mouth. ]

[unkindly]

[He sighs quietly, happily, leaning into Isaac's kisses and tracing his collarbones. One hand circles around to Isaac's back and explores the familiar territory of where Isaac's skin meets the RIG, tracing old scars and metal.]

[stomped]

[ He presses up against his hand, the sensation familiar and comfortable as he applies teeth to his skin, biting lightly along his throat. It's a slow interchange between soft, damp kisses and the pressure of his teeth on Jack's skin, leaving faint red marks. ]

[unkindly]

[...oh so that's why he liked it so much. Jack groans ever so quietly at that, his head tipping back and his eyes sliding shut. His hand continues its journey down Isaac's back, memorizing the map of his RIG.]
